RONALD E. HUTCHENS APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF ENVIRON'S US CONSULTING DIVISION

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA, --E-Wire/-- Joseph H. Highland, Ph.D., C.E.O. of ENVIRON Holdings, Inc., (EHI), recently announced that the EHI Board of Directors has appointed Ronald E. Hutchens, P.E., President of ENVIRON International Corporation (EIC), the firm's US Consulting Division. Concurrent with this leadership transition, former EIC President Robert L. Powell will continue in his role as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of ENVIRON Holdings, Inc., on a full-time basis.

 

RonHutchens_PR.jpgSince joining ENVIRON in 1997, Hutchens has played a key role in the growth and success of the firm's business through both his consulting practice and his involvement in the expansion of the MidWest business unit from an initial 2 to an existing 10 offices. He has been actively involved in firm governance, including serving three terms on the EHI Board of Directors. In addition to his role as US Division President, he will continue to consult with several key clients of the firm. A Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee, Hutchens has 30 years of experience in environmental and civil engineering, focusing on remedial investigation; soil and ground water remediation; CERCLA and RCRA project management and agency negotiation; and construction management. Hutchens draws on his extensive experience in all aspects of the remediation process to develop the most efficient, cost-effective solutions to our clients' problems.
